Labour contracts are based on either hourly rates or daily rates. The contracts for labour can include drillers, cookery personnel , general labour and supervision. Equipment is matched to the task, procured and assembled at our Canadian operating facilities. We test and then package the drilling system for delivery to any destination in the world. HEATH & SHERWOOD takes care of all the details while maintaining complete communication with the Client to ensure proper equipment and supplies for the job , proper packaging , documentation and shipping to the destination and finally commissioning at the job site. Often HEATH & SHERWOOD’S equipment and supply agreements are combined with our labour and supervision agreements to provide a full turn key project to the Client. HEATH & SHERWOOD provides labour to operate and
maintain the drilling equipment of others, including mining Clients who own their own
equipment but do not desire to have a trained drilling crew on their payroll.
Another service provided by HEATH & SHERWOOD is
specifying, procuring and packaging drilling systems for Clients who need equipment in
remote drilling operations or in foreign countries. We have specified, and packaged
equipment for Clients with projects located in the Canadian and Russian Arctic, the
African deserts and the South American jungles.
HEATH & SHERWOOD has worked closely
with country governments, the United Nations, CIDA and other sponsoring agencies to design
and deliver drill and related equipment training programs to developing nations as part of
a comprehensive aid program for the advancement of practical skill s and experience within
a designated country.
